SITE MANAGER

We are seeking a results-driven site manager for our Round Top facility in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The site manager is responsible for onsite project building and associated construction activities to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget, with minimal environmental and social impact. This person will direct and oversee contractor and subcontractor activities from start to finish. The site manager also needs to demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the importance of proactively engaging the local community.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and carry out site development activities associated with the development and management of mining and associated processing activities

  • Review all project contracts before submitting to management

  • Direct, coordinate and monitor contractor and subcontractor activities and ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget

  • Work effectively with landowners and tenants to maintain strong relationships and ensure good stewardship practices

  • Approve project plans

  • Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards


  • Ensure compliance across the worksite
     

  • Monitor all company activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports

  • Performs other duties as required

Who You Are

  • An enthusiastic self-starter with a High School Diploma, Associates Degree or equivalent, and 3-5 years experience in a civil, mining, or construction environment, or directly related experience
     

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule

  • Familiar with developing a Site Safety Plan

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and various other programs and geological software in the office (Leapfrog familiarity preferred; would be a requirement to learn if not)

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Work proficiently both individually and with teams

  • Travel requirements: 10%
